Peter has been working with clay for over 30 years and his experience is apparent in all of his work. His forms and glazes reflect the New Zealand environment, and his work is distinctive and highly desirable. His crackled surfaces are superb and give the work an aged and weathered appearance. We adore Peter's work, with it's Kiwi ethos throughout, from the glorious perfection of his crackle glaze in the Tidal series, to the deep green richness of our native bush in the Greenstone range, and the life and movement in his Coastal Grasses pieces. Peter is currently concentrating on slab forms rather than his previous wheel work. We feel privileged to have Peter's work which is beautiful, functional, and a pleasure to have.
