Alistair can be found during the day at the University of Auckland, where he works in the Science Faculty, and is the Scientific Glassblower for Chemical Sciences.  He has been a scientific glassblower since 1975, and is a member of the American, the Australian, and the New Zealand Scientific Glassblower Societies. For his relaxation he uses these skills to flame work glass to create miniatures of our native flightless bird, the Kiwi. We are privileged to be one of the few outlets that have Alistair's beautiful Kiwi available.
