Greg is a Whanganui based glass blower with a diploma in Applied Arts from Northland Polytechnic followed by further studies at Whanganui UCOL specialising in glass. He is regarded as New Zealand's foremost "cold worker", which is working on the cold glass using grinding, carving, engraving, polishing and other processes.  Greg's blown pieces are masterfully transformed into graceful and exquisite sculptural works, with intense burnished colour. Greg admires and is influenced by Japanese art, and draws on several forms including Ikebana, gardens and calligraphy to achieve his sublime forms.
