Garry Nash

Garry is one of the "granddaddies" of art glass in New Zealand, and has been working with hot glass since 1978, developing an individual style here freed from rigid European traditions. Garry's work reflects our environment, and his combination of colour and form evoke an emotional response that makes his work desirable and collected around the world. He is highly regarded both within New Zealand and internationally and we feel priviledged to carry his work - some of which was made in the hot glass workshop adjacent to the gallery. It was amazing to watch the master in action, his expertise made it look so easy!
