Peter Johnson

Peter is a Northland based potter, usually working with woodfiring using local clays. His works range from raku to low-fired sculpture and domestic ware. His signature raku-fired seals are the perfect melding of subject and material, the raku firing creating a leathery skin that makes them both endearing and authentic at the same time.
