Isaac graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001 and has since gone on to work in established glass studios in the US and here in NZ, refining his technique and skills in glass-blowing and fabrication. Isaac continued his studies in NZ, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Art History with a focus on the history of studio glass blowing in NZ.

Isaac works from Monmouth Glass Studio, which he established with Stephen Bradbourne in Auckland in 2012. The studio is renowned for it’s handblown glass lightshades, and the same expertise and mastery of glass can be seen in Isaac’s elegant, distinctive vases suffused with colour and lustrous, lambent light.
